Hi, I dont whether you experienced this awkward situation.
When am on a Cycle & Pedestrian Path, we are suppose to share the path...right?!
I keep having this look from pedestrians with dogs....you know you ring your bell cos their dogs are all over the place and rather than calling them, you have to make the emergency stop, as the dog is in your F@&%ing wheel.
Or they are on the wrong side of the path (walking in the cycle part).
Is there actually a rule/ regulation regarding these path (similar to a highway code)?
Have a good ride.

It's common etiquette. Cyclists have to slow own to pass pedestrians, pedestrians need to watch where the fuck they're walking and be aware they're sharing the path with cyclists. I think those extension leashes shouldn't be allowed on cycle paths, or at least they should be locked off at short.

all you can do is ride slow and assume every single person will randomly jump in front of you for no reason.
or just find a new route. i will go miles out of my way to never ride over the brooklyn bridge during spring/summer/fall.

Funny hearing cyclists complaining about pedestrians, when all they do is blow throw stop signs, ride up and down the sidewalk, go down streets and highways the wrong way and believe that they own the road, and that it is their god given right to clip your mirror on your car, run you down while walking your dog or carrying a grocery bag across the street... all while chating or texting on their mobile, hahahaha.

I've done all three and I still stand by the fact that drivers are the biggest inconsiderate assholes. But cyclists also think they're the shit and pedestrians don't give a fuck. Lose-lose-lose.

Well...a few bad cyclist going through on red lights and doing bad stuff give a bad reputation to the cycling community.
One bad seed and the fruit is rotten.
But people are just slightly to selfish. When u share a path well u share it.....call your dog until the cyclist who warned of his /her passage by using the shiny bell, is gone...is it that hard?
No wonder people are at war for a piece of land.
