Anyone else with an Apple cinema display (prev gen) notice an out of control burn in time? If I leave something on screen for not even 15 minutes it leaves behind a faint image. I thought projects were haunting me.

run the forest or nature screensaver for about an hour and it'll be gone.

yes, with the 20" I have in the office. It's pretty bad and I went through 2 monitors and still no good so i gave up.
the 23" ACD at home have no burn in problem.

yeah both my silver 20's get bad burn in after a few hours... starting to get perm. white spots in areas as well. I've had them for a few years now though

i can verify that 2008 imac's do it.
freaked out the first time i noticed it, but it was gone the next day.
i'm keeping an eye on it though as i approach 1 year, lots of documented complaints and replaced screens:

yeah, I had it happen to me. I had the 1st gen. cinema. A screensaver would wipe it out.
I ended up selling it on Craigs List
