so Im working on a directors port. site, and the size of the image is larger than the acutal spot, is there a way to upsample a screen capture to a higher resolution so when its scaled down it will look good, any help with this would be much appreciated.

no, pixelation will occur.

Well, if you're doing a still screen cap with Snapz, you can adjust the scale of the image before you capture it. i just took screen caps of the qbn logo at 100% and 200%. There was a slight difference when you zoomed in on them, but no discernible difference when i made them smaller (this part of your question still confuses me from the first time you posted it)
If you're capturing video, you can use the animation codec when you render it. That's worked well for me

well I know the video is 720x480 and the image Im trying to fill with the 720 screenshot is 873x514. Ive started to use snapz, and it snapz it huge but by the time it scales back down it looks the same,

ea man because pixel info = pixel info. You'll get the same result as the detail you're looking for just isn't there.

Ther's also a bunch of PS plug-ins that work. I used to use SmatScale http://www.ononesoftware.com/det… to get the quality I need when working with interlaced DV footage. Best of luck.
