  Dog, bigger deal though. Go for it if you have the time for the pup and the money for it's food/proper care. Pet's rule.

  Don't get a dog if:

  -You think it will take care of itself
  -You plan on leaving it in a kennel/cage 6+ hrs a day
  -You wont bathe it regularly
  -You wont exercise or discipline it properly
  -You live in an appt
  -You don't have the time or resources to care for it
  -You expect other people to help you care for it.
