oh fucking firefox gives me literally screenfuls of errors on this site and many others that I would class as being of this high a standard.
I bet if you look in the js for here, it does actually declare replaceElement as a method of the sIFR object, but the friggin numbnuts ff script nazi doesnt have the training to work that out.

newest version of flash doesn't play well with sifrs

sIFR is an embarrassment to mankind. If it had a face, I'd punch it.

Indeed you are right sIFR is a waste of time, cumbersome, and full of nonsense.
Do the right thing and use typeface.js http://typeface.neocracy.org/

Forget sIFR. Cufon is going to be the next big thing until @font-face is fully supported in browsers.
Camron Moll has an article about it: http://cameronmoll.com/archives/…
Cufon at GitHub: http://wiki.github.com/sorccu/cu…

What on this site is sIFR'd? I didn't see any custom fonts.
- You won't see it 'cause you have an up to date flash player which doesn't like sifr.Jnr_Madison
