Check out 'GOOD' magazine. Plenty of links in there. Science wise, 'SEED' is pretty nice if you're looking for a scientific approach to things.

if you think about it none of the scientific / environmental / non profits are going to have great logos or designs because A. non profits and scientists wont listen to designers POV without trying to flex their intellectual muscles B. they don't pay anything and C. Chances are they are not going to give you the time and thought engagement you need to produce something with real meaning thats going to make them stand out.
I would say try looking through some sort of book that was published on the subject or magazine like dwell or good they usually have some green articles. Also try http://www.inhabitat.com/
or that website and book that sagmeister did.... i cant remember the name but it has green everything.

dont forget about www.designcanchange.com

and perhaps look at non-design related material more closely related to the specific 'green' topic

its more how you apply the design, then how you design it. that makes it green.

I remembered!

I attended a convention today on renewable energy. There were a lot of really smart people who are totally on the right track... but they all had the worst PowerPoint presentations in the world. They have no idea how to sell that shit.

If it were green there would be no need for design.
