I've moved to pretty much full time crowdsourcing
holy crap... with ASCII like that you should ask people just to handover their Platinum or Black Amex zaq.
No dollars an hour.
do spec work instead
I've taken all my rates and doubled them. Then I've divided the resulting product by 2. I'm happy with these adjustments.
Personally, I've just started doing all my freelance in Second Life dressed as an alien dominatrix. I'm getting paid less, but I have more flexible hours and a lazer whip.
I've actually raised my rates...why are you lowering them?!
$70/hr., $550/day, $2,800 or more for a logo. Haven't lowered my rates yet, though sometimes I estimate a bit low for a first-time project if the client's budget is really tight and I really want the job. Build a little trust, charge more for subsequent projects. Seems to work out alright for me thus far...

- Why TMI? I don't really care if people know what I charge.Scotch_Roman
