Keep the bottom margin larger than the sides and top.

don't forget to stab yourself with the Exacto blade while trimming the boards down. Every designer has battle wounds from the #11.

I have several prints that are 17" in width but vary in length. They start around 10" long and can be up to 32" The paper is Premium luster paper from Calumet photo.

So wait. Are you mounting or framing these? If you're mounting, use Super 77, don't forget to inhale the fumes generously, and burnish it well to avoid air pockets.
If you matte and frame your work for a presentation you could get laughed out of the room and become the next graphic design joke.
- I don't have that info because it was never given.kgvs72

Your professors should tell you how to present it. That's usually how it goes.
Since they are obviously assholes, I suggest mounting your work on black illustration board (using 3M Super 77, don't forget to breath). Important: the boards should all be the same size, regardless of the work mounted to them. Keep the printed images and margins as equal as possible from board to board and you should do all right.
