  Illustrator Live Trace is OK but it doesn't seem to be able to recreate gradients accurately. Is there a better option out there for tracing bitmap art?

  a) there really is no better 'automated' option for tracing raster art than Live Trace, seriously
  b) manual tracing skills are unbeatable; work on them
  c) manual gradients are ridiculously easy

  Yeah, I can trace by hand, just wanted to see if there was a quicker way. I guess the automated technology is not quite there yet.
