Refurbished MacBook 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - Aluminum
13.3-inch 1280-by-800 pixel LED-backlit display
2GB memory (I'll max it to 4GB via Crucial)
160GB hard drive
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Built-in iSight camera
Standard keyboard
$1,099.00--- or ---
MacBook Pro - Core Duo 2.16 GHz (or the 1.83 GHz)
15.4 "
1-2 GB Ram ( I'll max it to 4GB via Crucial)
100-120 GB HDD
$800-900 on CraigslistI'll need it for CS3, mostly Photoshop, Dreamweaver and some minor flash work. Either may be hooked up to an external monitor for in-house freelance shite.
In my mind for only 200 more I can get the newer, although smaller MB but I'm afraid it won't be powerful enough.
Thoughts?

there is this store here in NYC called TEKSERVE.
http://www.tekserve.com/products…that link is to their closeouts deals. they are the best mac store in the city, i find them so much better than apple itself. you can get amazing deals thru them as well also full staff of real geniuses also just order it online if you arent from NYC.
- nicw! thanks for the link.sigg

the one from apple can come with apple care. the one from cl is bound to be busted and covered in spunk.
- the day applecare expires, the computer will breakdown.. nothing until that day arrives...e-pill

also if you are doing the graphic work dont get any screen size small than 15" becasue any smaller you wont be able to see true colour let alone all 16million cmyk colours. so go with the cheaper MBP than the new smaller macbook...
