Yesterday in Manhattan, models riot, thinking "terrorist bomb", when a BMW overheats near buy and it's radiator smokes. Hopefuls now seeking to sue Tyra Banks for not "giving them their chance to be America's next top model!"

i actually saw this line the night before. open calls are such a nightmare. i saw NO ONE that looked even remotely model worthy in line and was shocked when i got to the front to find that it was for a.n.t.m., haha. they were pretty rowdy even the night before... lots of attitude with no discernible talent to justify it. i cracked up so hard when i saw this the next day.

From the story in the NY Daily News, some kid borrowed his mother's BMW and was driving it in the city, it started to overheat and smoke a bit and he pulled over and one of the models yelled "Fire! Bomb!" and they all started running.
I love models. They are so entertaining in their utter stupidity.

That said it's people not responding to things like this that gets them killed when it is a bomb.
Numerous people died in the twin towers because they didn't immediately leave the building when the alarms went off.
Sitting around when things are smoking beside you ain't smart either.

a good friend of mine was caught in the middle of this... said she saw 4 people completely passed out on the ground. not sure if they were knocked out or what. she was scared as hell and had no idea what was happening and why everyone was freaking out, she just knew that there was a stampede and she was in the middle. scary stuff.
