Has anyone come across any quality school branding? It seems like an area that is very lacking.

Oh my. Point proven.
Is there even such thing as a well branded school?

I've been looking, but they all look dated and uninteresting

I agree Melanie. Lots of crests and shields, not many modern examples.
Isn't this the school that British royalty attends? http://www.etoncollege.com/ I expected better.
- It would be an interesting study to create branding for a school from start to finish.Melanie

This is interesting... one of my colleagues is studying school branding in the US and the usage of Native American image and its relevancy to the school and location. interesting stuff.
He tells me most of the logo stuff is corporate. I mean, how many "Warriors" and "Indians" do you see as a mascot? lots...
- It's my understanding that large organizations steer clear of any aboriginal/native references lest they get the pants sued off them.Melanie

what kind of school are you referring to? I´m sure there´s quality examples from pre-schools to universities..
- Mainly private schools, but open to any quality school branding aside from art schools.marcostill

I thought cranbrook would have a good site but the school identity takes a back seat to the art produced by the students.
http://www.cranbrookart.edu/Inde…- some of the stuff Elliot Earls has done for the school is very cool IMO. I dont see any examples of it on the site.identity
