Studio/Project Tracking Software

  I work for an in house design department with 5 graphic designers, an image resource coordinator and a production coordinator. Our volume of work consists of approx 500 or so trackable jobs of varying sizes per year. I'm looking for a good software package to be able to track everything. I've done some basic research and have run into packages like Studiometry. I've also seen smaller software solutions at the How Design conference but was confused when they were selling such ugly software to designers. Anyone have any recommendations?
