So, I have done alot of logos for a lot of dif clients...but most are local, smaller companies so i dont charge much. I have the opportunity to give a proposal to a new company that is packaging a type of tea. They are going to be selling in the big chain stores (safeway, albertsons) which is way bigger than i have done before. I know I can handle the work im just not sure how to propose a price. how much do i take into consideration how widely its being used? he wants a proposal for the logo and packaging. any tips would be great. thanks, im very intimidated by large amounts of money...

one thing you should ask is...do they have commitments from albertsons, ect? I doubt it........if they dont have logos so you cant really charge according to the exposure...If they do then you can bump up your fee, hourly or how ever you will charge.

so are we talking 5k or 10k for the logo?
- What are the applications for the logo? do you have to do brand guidelines? (5K is getting there)Ambushstudio
- no, i dont think so, just a logo pack and package design.dewilde

no, preyty sure they dont have commitments to any places, thats what they are shooting for. my rates for logos are usually 2 or 3k and same for packaging. is that way too low for something like this? seems like it....
