Anyone got some ideas of shops doing this? Like Total Immersion and Metaio. We can't do it and we need to find someone who can.
thanks!

pitching an idea into a client, and need to find a shop that can execute our idea.
- you need to find someone to execute while you're still pitching?monospaced

How does one use this to integrate into a Flash site, anyone know? Loosely, anyway.
Is this a software product you can buy and integrate into your workflow, or is it proprietary by companies, and you ultimately have to outsource it to them?
- I think you can download the source code somewhere, not sure where tho.letterhead

Stewdio is doing augmented reality now. Mostly with FLARToolKit. I compiled some of the research and notes I took while getting up to speed. If you want to get a quick overview with links to demos and source code : http://stewdio.org/blog

I reckon it would be worth finding someone freelance who's doing cool stuff with processing.org and arduino.cc. Would probably work out cheaper and you'd possibly end up with a better product.
- I've found the main Java-based AR code only works well on PC. Flash version works everywhere.stewdio

Its not tough, really. You use a code library and papervision. Good tutorial here:

As for shops specializing in executions, not too sure. Could be worth looking into doing in house though, as then you'll be able to do it again w/o relying on an external source.

It would be cool if people made an augmented reality game where the device triangulated the "map" using real world landmarks like the empire state building or the pyramid at giza and used GPS to put you in a spy game, where other players were characters in a game built around goole maps, and facebook is in there and pandora is the soundtrack and uh... tits. lots of tits in the game.
Also- you could use your iphone like xray glasses and see everyone naked.

And also, it used face recognizing technology to put weird clown masks on everyone, and if you honked their nose you got a point and their augmented reality bow-ties would spin around and make a "Wheeeeeeee" noise.
