Anyone got some going? Self-employed & freelancer, please share.
I noticed that the larger, somewhat established companies here in NL come up with special sales tactics as well. One even went as far as offering "identity kits" for flat rates.
Dutch design company Lava.nl offers this:

I've started doing chickens, if that doesn't work I'm moving up to puppies and kittens, and if that still doesn't work it'll just have to be the blood of my friends young children. We need to get out of this somehow

Fuck me, they can't even get the lettering perspective to match the boxes they're 'shoppin' it onto.

Must say i did some price slashings this week, probably the client
used the crisis as an excuse. But hey i need all the jobs i can get.

just give them your original prices and say they're discounted from a higher figure.

The only thing I've done so far is earnestly adopted a "no mistakes" policy.

I haven't had to lower my rates, yet. I've also gotten busier since this has gotten worse, go figure.
