Convert VHS to DVD

  Anyone have experience with this? I have some irreplaceable skate vids of me and my friends from around 1990-1998 that I need to convert.

  I have a VCR and a Macbook Pro. Do I need anything else? Specifics would be great!

  Do you have a mini dv cam? you can use it as a pass-through. I did this with very little problem.
