can we just start putting all font iD's in one thread?
rules
PICTURE + description of which bit you want identified
ALL answers go on the side notes.

no one will know which font we are identifying
- sorry, didn't read********
- going through 48 side notes sequentially everytime you want to check = a bit tedious********
- i did see it ;)gentleman
- In theory I like your idea but after a couple dozen notes it does get a little tedious...********

problem with the type appreciation thread is.. ALL the fonts are in one post.

I already wrote this as a note and you didn't see it
- every time you check back you have to go through every note all over again********
- type id threads by nature require checking back often********
- use your noggin, kiddo!********
- gfy********
- etc********

when its about the page, it'll just look like "that font thread is hanging about" and wont get the attention it needs unless people use it constantly like the blog thread.
- gentleman0
but thats the point. use it like the Pic of the Day thread or the blog thread
- ^ solve mag_ruin's issue, and we might sign it offhungry_coyote
- there is a practical reason, see my above posts********
- SEE, YOU DON'T EVEN READ NOTES********

it's the same problem as a sequential portfolio site where the piece you wanted to see is 38 pieces in and you have to go through them one at a time every time you want to see it

kudos for attempting to streamline the chaos, but admit that this doesn't work

NON LINEAR ACCESS NAVIGATION.
jacob nielsen would have a fucking field day with you, gentleman or not, son!

hmm.. i guess the only way it would work. is if people didnt 'chat' on the notes of the Type iD thread. only genuine replies.
then you would prolly only have to go through 6 pages max :)
- the nature of type id is chat, so that's not even true********
- and even so, why would you want to go through the same answers over and over?********
- rand..
i tip my gentleman's hat to you
gentleman
