i was just playing diablo II LOD today w/my slayer character. yes, i'm that much of a geek, and i can hardly wait for diablo III. every time those games come out i know that for the first few weeks, every spare second is getting hoovered up by the game.
and this is why i still haven't joined WoW.

We have an employee here who is reasonably normal by most accounts, and he was a sociable, extroverted type before WoW took over his life.
These days trying to even get him out for a Friday arvo knock-off beer is nigh on impossible. He just wants to go home and start another quest. It's so spectacularly lame.

I just played for 20 minutes. Where's the fun part? I just don't get having to slash away at wild boars with the prize being a wristband of healing +1.

I have a hard time playing fps with the xbox controller. It's easier and more precise on a keyboard.
