I wear an apron several days a week. Nothing sissy about it.
- keep telling yourself that.anxious_arms
- Work with your hands much?blaw
- all day. keyboard, mouse, toilet... the only work i DO is with my hands. don't need an apron for any of it ;)anxious_arms
- It's fine. Unlike a fanny pack.juhls
- Ah... a differing opinion on the word "work". Got it.blaw
- To be honest, when someone says they work with their hands, I immediately think of what blaw does, or surgeons.juhls
- "blaw" and "surgeon" in the same sentence! Afternoon = made.blaw

I wear an apron when I cook. Ruined too many clothes when I didn't.
Or do i not count in this conversation?
- Smart cooks do, right?blaw
- I just ruin the cloths. And splash up the stove. And drip on the counters. And get tossed from the kitchen.blaw
- that's your plan all along, though, isn't it? For instance, Mr. Mayo is banned from grocery shopping alone.mayo
- Even better! Smarter than I, that husband of yours.blaw
- Though, it appears you and I are the only ones in this thread that own this useful item. I'm a little surprised.blaw
- I have 4 aprons, though the oil cloth gets used the most. However, when I paint, I just wear grubbies.mayo
- Where do they simultaneously keep a tape measure, scribe, cabinet screws, countersinking bit and pencil!? Octopi, all of them.blaw
