Last year I did a leaflet for a cultural event (ended up being a concertina with four folds, each fold wider than the last to give a stepped effect).

This year I have been asked to do it again, but I dont want to do it in the same format (for one it was a bitch setting it all in illustrator) so Im thinking of a 10pp A5. (I can maybe use XML to import the data aswell so it will save me loads of time this way.

Question is, can you think of any interesting formats that I can populate in indesign, and wont cost the earth to print (as I think they liked the usability of the stepped version)?

Im thinking of colour coded sections (maybe using different coloured paper for each section depending on cost), or even having the pages tabbed like a folder, any examples of other things in this vein would be cool to see, nothing too mad though as I dont think they want to pay silly money!!!!!
