Hi freelance guys/gals..
2 things;
1) Just curious as to whether it's common during a job with a project rate to send clients finished concepts ahead of time?(as long as they dont know how much ahead of time) So we can fit in a few rounds of changes before the time is up and we go into hourly...?
2) After one round of changes I've finished the job and it's ahead of time...the client doesn't know this exactly but he is asking that I invoice him for the 'hours used'...but it's a project rate...surely if he wanted to be billed for the exact hours we should have went hourly with this.... is this just another case of jedi mind tricks to avoid paying more?
thoughts?
I'm going to invoice for the balance of the project rate I think...I'm fairly new to freelancing and I'm finding the clients 'deceiving' methods of doing business confusing when I think I know the score...then I'm like...wha?...is this how it works?...then I come over to QBN and ask you guys :)
Hope you can shed some light here...so I don't get deceived...
Thanks alot
