Not sold on the trailer. I know the movie will be better than this. But all the teaser trailer did was show me Brad Pitt has a shitty accent. I didnt see any ground breaking photography either. Quen needs to knock of some shots from The Fall or something....

That looked so bad it could be funny.

Hang on hang on... I just watched that clip and it actually HAS been spelled 'inglourious'... is there any reason for that? or is it a massive fucking cock up like that one time, when Spandau Ballet sung about 'Instinction'?
- Just to stroke your pipi.Ruffian
- Yeah, that was my instinction too Ruffian.Horp

Loved this movie! Just watched it last night. Not as good as Pulp Fiction but has that funny sarcastic and sick humor that's Tarantino.
- Even though it's a remake.monospaced

Huge fan of everything he's done, minus "Death Proof." Not that excited about this one based on his last film and the quality of this trailer.

alot of german actors.

Just saw this. About a 1000 times better than his last crock of shit Death Proof. It was a bit like channel hopping on holiday in Europe during the eighties though. With every channel playing a different war movie. One serious, one with John Wayne it, an Italian one and one that's a knockabout comedy. So overall I give it a, huh, weird. I did enjoy it far more than I thought I would though.
- how'd you see this? its not out yet is it?svenreed
- Previews this weekend - out next weekend.JerseyRaindog

Loved it.
People who don't like Tarantino may not like it, but I thought it was very well-paced and...delicious may be the right word.
The way he builds up suspense is perfect.
I have to complain a little about Brad Pitt. I usually rag on the guy, but I have good reason since he doesn't make a great leading star. Good second man, for sure. In this one I honestly think he was the weakest out of the other actors. It was the accent and the over-acting. At times it gave the audience some humour, but most of the time it didn't work. But the rest of the actors were great, so my opinion doesn't mean he's horrible. Just...out of place.
As usual, I have to mention Tarantino's female characters and how they're in their own category.
One other thing I had a problem with (let's skip all the moral talk) was that there was barely any development of some of the main characters. Landa was amazing and given more air-time, for sure, but even Aldo didn't seem to "feel" anything about people dying around him. I think that's why I loved the opening scene and the look of terror on the French man's face (the one who had the three daughters).

I liked it as well.

Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."
