I need to share a folder of images with my wife who is on a pc, I'm on a mac. We're on the home wireless. I want to make the folder password protect, and read only. How the fook do I do it?

Open up Sys Prefs
Go to Sharing
Turn on File Sharing select shared folder
notice the adress will say something like "User can access shared folder bla bla bla" but write down the number (afp://10.254.x.xxx)on the pc go to start menu - run
and type in the number you wrote with out the afp and wala
