Multi-column web layout

  I'm wondering if there is a way to link multiple columns together, so that text in the left column flows over to the next column and so on. similar to how inDesign links content frames. Can this be done with DIVS?

  i think you can do that with absolute positioning no? so you have your div columns set up and then you have your text in its own div above the rest
