jeez. just listened to the whole new album and on first listen it's kinda shite. obviously just my opinion. Jilted and Fat cd's were my favs, always outnumbered really grew on me (starting with an obsession of Memphis Bells) but the new disc has got nothing for me on first run. invaders is ok but not exactly great. if it were a release from an unknown would probably have died in a ditch.
i'd be interested to hear anyone else's take?

I've listened to it straight through twice and am surprised to find it's such a "take it or leave it" release. I'm not a big electro guy, but I love everything these guys have released prior to this. There has always been a solid level of songwritng/arrangements, where this one is pretty weak.

You are both wrong...best album they have done since Jilted Generation. I wasn't crazy about the last two albums, but this one is inspired how it mashes up the old school rave sound of the first album with the punky shouty thing they have been doing lately.
And if you disagree with me, I will break a bottle over your face, light you on fire, and kick the shit outta ya, OK.
