Saw him in Preston about 15 years ago. Drunk as a skunk but still played beautifully. Sad day.

I'm gutted.
Saw him perform about a month or so ago. He was in bad shape, at least 25stone, only one leg, mumbling more than ever but damn it he still had fire and was amazing for two full hours of live music. No fucking way.
