evening all - could really do with a yes on this.
is it possible using 10.5.5 - to find a log of things that the mac was doing - but to show it by time and date?
do you know what i mean? packages opened or just activity of any kind?
i have tried searching for last opened / last modified / created etc...
does osx have this at all?
hope so?!

...tops! do i need to open the terminal to run that?

you can open that in terminal and read it, but it's probably easier to go to Applications > Utilities > Console. all logs are readable from there. there are also compressed archived older logs in that same folder, not sure if console lets you read those

might wanna grep dump it to a separate text file if you're looking for something particular as it does get clogged up pretty quick.

- is there is anyway of collect all activity on the mac for a set date?
got enough for what I need I think - but if can have 'everything' going on that would be even better - is there a way for that?
