Trudging around tourist venues with your family who've sprung a surprise visit this weekend. 'Yaay'.

Whereabouts are you going to be?
- kelpie0
anywhere around centralish with an eastern flavour - I love the tube though so don't mind hammering around town a bit...
- Fariska0
In which area are you going to be? East, West End/soho, South, Camden?
- roundabout0
You could go into camden town to watch the Crack Dealers.
- Fariska0
- Camden market is always open
- Nothing too interesting is going on at the Truman brewery lately
- Tate modern is always a must.
- Check what's going on at the design museum near Tower bridge.
- Have a walk from tower bridge to London bridge on the south side of the river.- did tate recently, last two are interesting to me. never checked out tower bridge in all my tripskelpie
- oh, definitely do that. well worth it. and you can swing by borough market on the way. lovely food.paraselene

usual things like exhibitions etc will be considered, I'm going to check out a few train stations though cos I'm a massive transport architecture nerd, and also like standing about buildings which have interesting shapes and losing myself in the scale of a properly big city, so that should give you some ideas :)
- you've seen the new st. pancras, right?paraselene
- that's the one particularlykelpie

- You can pick-up some excellent sushi at the Japan Center take away and go eat it in the small park down piccadilly or somewhere else.
- If you're into toys, comics models and action figures, you can drop by at Play lounge in carnaby st, or The forbidden planet near covent garden and then follow up to Model Zone near Holborn.
- You can always walk up and down Tottenham court road looking for the best bargain about that usb light you desperately want.

hey neue, mind if I mail you about in InDesign query?

- Camden is alot of the same shit so if you've been before make it a quick brush through.
- You could spend (part of) the day just walking around central hitting a few shops you are interested in. There are some awesome buildings about often tucked away where you least expect them.
- Be sure to pop by My Old Dutch in Holborn, excellent pancake place.I go east > south > east to and from work, so I'll be around east/central between roughly 9-11am if you're up for getting a wee bit smashed in the mid morning.
- haha, that'd be ace but I don't get in till 1ish - should probably avoid getting smashed before the evening tookelpie
- sleepyfatso0
I'll be in the Ship on Wardour street for a pint around 1 if you fancy popping round.
- Even though I don't know you.sleepyfatso
- Or, I should say, even though you don't know me.sleepyfatso
- cheers anyway! :Dkelpie
- kelpie0
lovin' the pints offers guys, you know me well :D but I've really got to stay sober on this one single afternoon, I'm hoping I can do it if I'm determined enough ;D

You could stand about train stations drinking tennents extra like all the other Scottish fellas.
- tried that last time, no other cunt here would join me (apart from para)kelpie
- you should have said I would have been there!Stugoo
- go big or go home, that's my motto.paraselene
- kezza_20
Bourough Market for a burger from the Ginger pig stand and a beer in the Market Porter followed by a gentle stroll down the river to the Tate Modern.
Thats what I'd do anyway
- paraselene0
kelps, there's a possibility that i could meet you for a late lunch if you don't mind coming central. of course, there's the possibility that all hell will break loose and i won't be able to get away from the office. but maybe worth a try?
- yeah lets plan to do that, meeting herself after half 5/6 dso I've got plenty of timekelpie
- Stugoo0
wow there are actually some _nice_ people on here...
I'd recommend heading out to brick lane if your after a drink or you could check out the touristy steet performers in covent garden if you want some token stuff or you can wander round soho, there are a couple of nice shops there that do toys n stuff, i cant give you names off the top of my head though.
If you get a chance roll up to MASH at the tottenham court road end of oxford street for some nice t-shirts, lots of the stuff is brought in from illlustrators and such.
