Yeah, I've been reading about running multiple versions of IE. My other option is to run parallels with one copy of XP and one copy of Vista just because I happen to have a license for each. I mean it would be nice to be running everything from the same machine. However, I'm always afraid of putting a bunch of crap on my machine. I don't want it to start running like crap.

i have parallels but i just got a $300 crap pc to test on, use multiple IE.

I think using a PC will probably be the best solution. I have an old desktop collecting dust. I just need to get a switch so I can share my monitor between it an my mac.

I use an old PC ~ its the most effective.

most LCDs these days have a d-sub as well as dvi, so i have both plugged in and just use the input switch to toggle. i use vnc to control the pc from my mac so i don't need a keyboard or mouse for it.

I so look forward to the future where browsers follow the appropriate standards.

IE will never follow standards. it's in their interests to screw the standards as hard as possible.

using bootcamp will give you results under windows on a Mac, but not native windows results.
i'd suggest testing on the oldest p.o.s. pc you've got and a lesser version of ie.
- how exactly do the two differ? they are both the same OS. how does the code execute differently on mac hardware?acescence
