What modern appliances would you be willing to give up? Which would you refuse to part with?
e.g. I'd let air conditioning go, but I'd definitely keep the dishwasher.

Ditch the video player.
Don't own a dishwasher, would have to keep the fridge... hate warm/room temp food

all we have is a fridge and the cooker. oh, and a microwave. but i hate and fear microwaves, so it lives on top of the fridge, where only my husband can reach. if anything had to go, at this point it would have to be the nukebox.
