Reading about the Google favicon, a bbc designer states a few points to make a good favicon, yet look at the BBC one, it's awful!

nice one - wonder if they thought of that when they made the brand guidelines. Bit of a design no no making any logo that small as a favicon!

I would expect my license fee to go towards a competent designer. They spend enough making hippos spin round in circles, they can get a 16x16 square right surely.

Google's is better than the BBC's, let's not be silly now.
You may not like it a whole lot, but it's better designed/implemented.

Its just a white g on top of some colours. Talk about trying to find womthing that isnt there.
