I'm getting a new mouse and I'm looking for some input. I'm really picky when it comes to my input devices, I've gone through droves and mice and keyboards. I'm quite a fan of the Logitech RX1500
It's simple and cheap but it feels really smooth.I've been looking into gaming mice for photoshop/illustrator work though, has anyone tried these for that purpose? For example, the G5
Or maybe even the razor copperhead
They look like wank, I'd go for a mighty mouse but they're piss poor...

Think the little scrollbutton, the nipple, on the mighty mouse gets clocked way too easily, and is too hard to clean on top of that.
Some suggestions:
1. If you own a workstation and laptop and want something (foldable). Still sturdy. Wireless:
2. This works as a pointer if you lift it from the table. If you're into presentations (blergh). Wireless.
3. Comfort. Love how the hand completely rests in this. Wireless.

I'd get the revolution but it's a little too pricey. I've had the mx1000 for a few years now (after a couple of replacements due to scroll wheel button breaking) and I'm a little tired of recharging. Shouldn't be a problem but I fell out of the habbit of putting it back in it's cradle, I'd still love one though. I'm really looking for a wired mouse but that top one does look appealing... what is it?

Fluidity of movement and a nice amount of physical weight are really what I'm looking for. I tend to prefer mouse that weigh more than others due to my bulging biceps.

I would like a good wired mouse too.
Would a wireless one work from the keyboard USB port?
- You'd have to check the power requirement of the adapter and the output of your keyboard usb portskalkal
- Was that actually a serious question or are you taking the piss out of my contradiction ;Pkalkal
- Yeah but first hand experience is good. my spec is new MBP with apple keyboardDancer
- no no. I am thinking along your lines. Like the arc but would pref a wired mouseDancer
- I think it'd only work if it were plugged into the new iMackalkal
- It outputs more power through the usb ports when connected with an iMackalkal

" Devices that draw high power from the USB connection, such as iPods, hard drives and some flash drives, can only be used with the new keyboard when it is attached to the aluminium iMac."

The arc is really nice but the shape bugs me, mice seem to be one of those things thats either style or substance, they never seem to be paired

Anyone used the RX1500

I do actually, I'm using it at my brothers now. It has really smooth feedback (on screen) glides well on the mouse mat, is nicely weighted too (heavy is to my taste). I'd like it to have a couple of buttons on the side for forward/back web browsing but I reassigned the left/right scrolling feature to do that. The scroll wheel clicks in and rolls freely too which seems weird to begin with but after using it for a while, you start using that without thinking about it, I miss that feature at home now. All in all, its probably the best mouse you can get for that money. If you're interested in getting that one, I'd look for the OEM version and just download the software from the logitech site to save a couple of quid.
