have photoshop / illustrator cs3 .. is it worth upgrading to cs4
- triplefrogger0
Definitely worth it - we just upgraded our systems at Triple Frog and man, just the ability to work with tabs is worth it! If you're working with multiple files open in Illustrator for example, there is a tab bar at the top just like Firefox. I've also been told that you can now make objects in Photoshop completely rotatable in 3-D.

right on thanks triplefrogger

tabbed browding in photoshop would be the ONLY thing i would kill.
it;s the shittest thing ever. how do you drag a layer from one tabbed window to another? get better work habits and then you wont ned to tab the shit out of anything.
- It's funny that it has taken one software release to provide something Macromedia had.kgvs72
- And why would I want to work on more than one project at once, I get paid hourly.********

- when you have to deal with files from multiple clients it is often really out of your control to have any sensible workflow setup. Work habits are great if all you deal with are your own files.squidy

like triple frog said
because cs4 runs dependantly off your graphics card processing power. the 3D engine is amazing.

flash cs4 is garbage, very buggy for me. idk about illustrator and photoshop because work didn't provide them. I find cs3 to be very stable and efficient, I do not plan on upgrading at least for the time being.
