Honestly though, I only use windows or linux. I feel like I can take them apart if I have to. Mac feels like an Italian sports car..with all that is good and bad that goes with that...
- how the fuck do you take it apart? are you like a developer or something?janne76

People used to Macs are faster.. which was false. When Mac got Intel, they said its not about the performance but its about the OS.
- faster is also in the ease of use.. not jsut processor speed.. tis all about productivity..janne76

I use both, but prefer Mac. I agree with you blue* and I agree with you JSK. People who think that a mac will make them better for whatever are just stupid and you can do the job on a windows machine, but Macs just run better IMO. I never have to restart my mac or free up ram.

you need to run MMC.exe and load services.msc
There you can shutdown and disable any crap.
What to shutdown and disable?
you're going to need a tweakers guide or something.

When I had a mac, I had far more frequent app crashes than on Windows. Force quit actually works on MacOS though. bear in mind this was a PPC mac with Tiger though

i am now working on a mac at work. first thing i did was set it to boot to windows and get a two button mouse.
keyboard annoys the fuck out of me though. why should i need to hold down fn for the function keys to work? I use them much more than i need to adjust the pissing volume.

Welcome to Windows.
You may see through them,
but they'll never open..

You idiot. Why would you run Windows on a Mac instead of taking advantage of OS X?
You do realize that Macs ship with 5-button mice, right?
- lol @ fanboys thinking people that prefer windows are idiots.********
- see notes above,********
- + you can buy a $10 3 button USB mouse, and it'll work just as welladded_valium

I prefer my 3+ years old mac to the vista running PC laptop.
The mac sometimes has so many apps open and still runs smoothly - couldn't imagine that with the PC (final cut, dvd studio, ID, AI, PS, DW, Skype and more - all at the same time).
I have to admit I've become an MS hater (since Vista), and I used to be a PC advocate for many years.
