Hi all,
We've created an application here in Flex and I want to do an icon for the application, rather than the "F" for flash in the red box.
I have created one using Photoshop andIcon Composer on my mac. This works well for Macs, but when I take it across to the PC, it doesn't work.
How do you do resizable icons for both Mac and PC?
Any direction? Links etc?
Cheers,
P

Thanks for that. I can create the icons ok, it's just how to change the icon for the application launch file (or the .exe file).
Anymore ideas?

Hey all, thanks for the help. Essentially, if we imagine taking a pdf document over on a usb key from a mac to a pc, the icon on the pc will still be the adobe pdf icon. I want that to be the case with this application. SO rather than the flash player icon, it'll be mine, and still good quality if the pc user aliases it to their desktop?
Am I making any sense?
I managed to do it on a mac, with the .icns file. But this doesn't do it for a pc!

32 seconds on google = 1 PC application. I work on a mac (see above) and was hoping to find some sort of procedure where I wouldn't need a bit of pc software, and a bit of Mac software.
Anyone got some sort of online article they've seen with the definitive answer for this? How do Adobe do it?
Thanks for everone's help so far,
Peace
