I like kodachrome too. It's days are numbered though. There's only one place in the world that processes it.

So sad.

Sad indeed. There is something about the analogue process that feels more human. More I shoot digital, more I realize something is missing. I find myself post-processing digital files trying to make them look more like film photos.

I have mixed feelings about Kodachrome. It's odd an film.
Pro:
Great soft colors.
Very consistent.
Ridiculous archival properties. I've seen 60 year old slides with perfect color. In fact it's a black and white filmCons:
All the films cons can be summed up in its K-14 development process. The process has literally 14 baths which must be with in a half degree of each other. Which is extremely hard to maintain. At one point there was only one lab in North America where you get it processed. Also the K14 process is notoriously toxic. Green peace has called Kodak one of the worlds greatest polluters sighting this process in particular.
The film is also VERY hard to scan. Its B+W base tends to trip scanners making it hard to focus.
