If you don't mind me saying, I think this movie (actually the entire trilogy) is worth buying (or renting) and viewing on something bigger than a youtube window.
my 2 cents :)
- (the other two are bad.)francoisfido
- The other two are bad? WTF FIF? They don't have the armageddon action maybe, but "BAD" ????Horp
- You like guns and car chases huh.Horp
- you may not like them, but with or without your approval, all 3 are cinematic masterpieces.Meeklo
- Well said Meeklo.Horp
- sorry, i just couldn't get past the bad cgi.francoisfido
- the bad one with the shitty cgi is the lastest new one not apart of the original 3part seriesKwesiJ
- http://www.koyaanisq… —original series, no? (and isn't the other also bit bad with effects too?)francoisfido
- only one has bad effects as far i remember but i thought baraka and the 2 film ones were the trilogy and the bad effects one was just extraKwesiJ
- ...was a new extra one they threw together with stock footage or something.KwesiJ

I agree with Meeklo. These people went to the trouble of shooting twice as many frames, and on 120mm roll film... and then you fucking watch a scabby Youtube clip?
Fuck that, buy them. Get Baraka too.

Fantastic, watched this and 2001 the other day when I was out with the man flu. It always gets me when people talk about films like Gladiator being epic, if that's what's setting the bar for qualifying as epic then Koyaanisqatsi is several timezones over the line.
I've been wanting to get this on Blu Ray or atleast in 1080i for a while, anyone know where I could find such a copy?

Saw it at the cinema some years ago - digital re-master or somesuch. Awesome.
