Anyone have any of these ebook readers? Got any recommendations, or which ones to avoid?

I was reading about them earlier today. I like the Sony reader better because it can support PDFs, the Kindle has it's own iTunes wannabe DRM.

The Kindle has more available books, but it looks hideous.

I vote sony, supports PDF's and other file types.
Kindle locks you into their format and DRM, you must pay to convert your own docs to view, and charge for RSS feeds.
the only thing Kindle has going for it is that it uses cell phone rather than wifi so you always can download books without finding a wifi connection (but is that really a big deal in this day and age?)if you have some extra cash check out iRex Digital reader. Has a built in wacom tablet so you can take take notes as well as read.
downside is it costs around $700
