I've seen about 5 minutes of this shit pile. The millionaire was some asshole in his fifties. He handed out checks for 25-50k. Cheap bastard. He just wants to be on tv.

Yeah, when they give $25,000 checks away it's the equivalent of any normal person giving like a dollar bill to a homeless person....big deal.
If you really want to give, it should be personal and from your heart, not some televised exploit or political stunt. Who are these people Oprah! She sure has to let the whole world know everytime she gives a few dollars of her stockpile.

The show mostly sucks. Its nice that some of those rich people get a view of reality, and are sort of moved by it. But at the end of the show you realize it doesn't matter. They are allowed to give however the hell much they want to, but they always end up giving only the minimum. Unimpressed, and its just to make them "feel good" about themselves, and to "look good" to tv land.
If I was one of those people getting a check, I'd be a little offended and embarassed, to be honest. But I'd still cash that shit, mos'def.

I'm fairly Christian when it comes to charity - keep that shit to yourself, don't wear it on your sleeve - it's... unseemly.
