Hi - I've recently bought a new laptop, but my iPod is registered on a friends computer - who is on a long holiday for the next 2 months and is my usual source of compooter help.
I'd like to plug in my iPod without wiping my songs and of course have them stored in iTunes on my new laptop.
How do i do that? is it possible

Plug in iPod, turn on manually manage music and you can then put new music onto it from any itunes library.
However, you may have to do that from your friends computer, can't remember.
- yeah you will have to use the computer it's synched withdoesnotexist

download an app to remove all the files from the ipod onto your HD, then register the ipod with the new comp (it will wipe it) then start loading it up again. You'll never need to see your friend again!
