i still think a simple deterrent would be to enforce broadcast counts below a certain threshold. this won't stop them from posting spam, but it'll make handling the spammers easier and it won't disrupt the flow of PV for its regular users.

this site is more or less wide open for a spam attack. it's not surprising really.

another approach would be a "mark as spam" button. enough unique hits from reputable members would immediately hide the thread and mark it for review. threads not considered as spam will be re-inserted into the PV again for public usage.
