Has acquired 40 acres for his new location for the CoSM Art Sanctuary. It should be completed fairly soon and will be holding week and week-end long workshops. Looks pretty cool. Just wonder about the $$$.

Yeh, fair props to the guy for having the talent, resources and selflessness to get this going - I don't know how much something like this would have helped me or my peers when we were out on the far reaches of the acid journey - a long circuitous route that eventually (sooner rather than later), brings one back to exactly where one was - albeit it with slightly more worried parents and a wish to, you know - get back to farming our own food and, like, everything like that..
It's a vital part of becoming a fully aware and functioning human in the 21st century, but it is, like anything real in our culture, surrounded by the biggest bullshitters one could ever imagine.
The art of story-telling - as vital, ancient and magic a human activity as any has as it's focus the devil's asshole that is hollywood, you can go to prison for getting your music the wrong way, and to psychedlically explore the mind one has to walk the gauntlet between prison-death and new-age string-haired fuckery. Fuck both of those. Spritual and psychic exploration wears no mask and to represent it stylistically in the same old tired way does it and us a great disservice and serves only to continue its marginalisation from the rest of this broken shabby little world.
Nice drawings though, would have been better with Obama having just black for eyes.

Yeah, I give him credit for starting something like this up. I had a chance to check out his Gallery in NY and was blown away. The guy is so selfless, he charges 5 bux and also gives tours of the place every Friday where he guides you through the whole space and speaks about each piece. He is definitely one of a kind and really out there.
