  I got the R4 chip off craigslist. I highly recommend it. I can get any games free, watch movies on my ds or listen to music.

  If you end up getting an R4, make sure to get a regular MicroSD, not a MicroSD HC ... the high capacity kind don't work with the R4 kernel. I ran into this problem at first.
