free FTP for Mac

I want to have a client upload files himself to his site by means of FTP. He has no MySQL and such. He's a photographer with a Mac. Any simple FTP apps out there that are possibly free?

cyberduck and filezilla are free, but both quite painful to use. transmit is just 30 bucks and thoroughly destroys them all.

cyberduck is dog slow, every action just seems to take forever. not upload/download times, just the whole app is wading in molasses. filezilla is ok, it's just god awful ugly and a bit confusing.

my version of cyberduck is as fast as transmit.. so I disagree on that point. only annoying part in Cyberduck is not having a local view.
but it's free. Free stuff rules!
