It's pretty lame they don't work with dvi because i would buy one. Seems like they are leaving money on the table by not making it compatible with any mac old than a year.

seriously, what is apple supposed to do? keep old tech ports on their computers for fear of the people who will be pissed that they either have to upgrade (oh NO) or buy an inexpensive adapter (HOT POT OF COFFEE NO!)
i have 6 fucking cords coming out of my mbp right now and i fully understand what apple is trying to to OTHER than make a buck. new tech is shrinking down the port sizes and hopefully cutting down on the number of cables i have to have plugged into my mac.
it's brilliant if you ask me.
