A few weeks ago there was a thread+really good link to a site/blog/article that talked the reader through settings you have to change in photoshop to save off nice true black images for web. It explained to web idiots like me what to do to make sure save for web didn't make all the pictures go milky and pale.
I bookmarked it at the time. Now I can't find the bloody bookmark. Does it ring any bells with anyone by any chance??

^ Thanks you two... that wasn't it, but that seems to cover the same things. I would still like to find the original thread and link if possible because the walk-through was much clearer and user-friendly than this one. It also mentioned a few 'hidden' tricks that this one doesn't.
I'm cussing bookmarks here... they are really useless once you've got into the realms of bookmarking thousands and thousands of things. I have them all sorted into libraries but still... can't find this one to save my life.

"We're going to essentially turn off all this profile nonsense by changing the top drop-down to Monitor Color. Let's uncheck "Ask When Opening" while we're at it....from now on, when you open an image that has a color profile, Photoshop will give you a brief heads-up that we're tossing it out."
This is so damn wrong.
