Man, just missed us. I was watching my weather widget the other night before bed and the temperature was hovering around 33-34º. I was grateful when I woke up the next day.

My mother in law in upstate NY is without power, as is a good portion of the southern part of VT. Luckily we merely got 6-8 inches of snow.
- so how do you communicate? still got some phone battery left. i am just curious

My mom lives in southern New Hampshire on Baboosic Lake. The entire area is encased in ice. No power, heat, water, nada. Luckily they have a wood burning stove and stuff stored in ice, so they're ok. Got the last water, batteries, and lanterns at the store after waiting in an enormous line. Paper says about 400,000 without power. Bringing in people from as far away as Ohio to deal with the cleanup and repair.
At one point in a nearby town, there was a tree falling every minute. Worst anyone has seen I guess.- tx, for the story hope your fam. is fine. Last part sounds so surrealistic you should have filmed it (on save distance)keiTai
