anyone know of some good tools/apps for organizing and archiving web images, texts and whole pages from the web?
I basically looking for something that will help me store and organize and view, all the clippings and shit that piles up after researching stuff on the web. I would like to keep the stuff I find on my computer, not shared online, and I also would like to be able to save "whole" pages easily, not just save links..
there must be some good apps out there (for Mac) that cover the "organized, web-research" angle, no?
I guess browser-add ons would be fine, but not something like ClipMarks and Google Notebook... I am looking for something more robust...
any suggestions people?

JetEye plug-in for Firefox is actually really nice for this. You can archive notes, text from a site, images, color swatches from anywhere on the web, and package them as working directories that you can share with clients, or collaborators. Haven't used the plug-in in a few years, so it might not exist anymore, or it might be even better nowadays.
