i like to eat at the front porch in the City (29th St, between Mission and San Jose Ave).
and occasionally i go to the Ruby Room (Oakland) cause it reminds me of shitty bars in Portland and I live 3 blocks from it.

Cheeseboard Pizza in Berkeley is worth the drive if you've got a car. Not sure how to get there by transit.

There's also a bunch of great stuff at the SFMOMA currently and there's gonna be a shitload of fantastic shows this time around. Check out SLIM'S 333 Club.

Make sure you eat at Burma Superstar at least once. Go to Green Apple Books. See what's happening at the deYoung. If you're around on Saturday or Sunday and the weather is good, drink mimosas with friends in GG Park. Go to the Stardust Lounge at night for a drink or two. Taqueria Cancun or Vallarta for the best mexican in-town. Stinking Rose or Foreign Cinema for a dinner. House of Nan King for a Chinese food splurge, or if you're feeling grimey, take your own 40oz's to Sam Woh's for late-night Chinese (open til like 3 or 4am).
